Do you haul out of the state?

Yes, we can haul to the entire lower 48 states.

 

Can your drivers load or unload the equipment themselves?

Yes! One advantage of choosing Catom as your specialized carrier is that our drivers are highly experienced in handling an extensive list of equipment. We are happy to tackle that work for you.

 

What is considered to be a heavy haul?

Anything weighing more than 80,000 pounds generally requires a permit, and would classify as a heavy haul.

 

What is considered a specialized load?

States vary with requirements, but most loads larger than 8’6” wide and 13’6” high typically require permits. We will handle all escorts and permits for your load in-house.

 

How much does it cost to haul heavy equipment?

What kind of trailers do you have?

You name it, we have it! Lowboys are our specialty, but we also provide everything from 13 axles down to flatbeds, stepdecks, landolls, water tankers, stretch trailers, beam trailers, specialty trailers and more.

 

Can you haul hazardous materials?

Yes, we have drivers certified in hazardous material hauling.

Where does the name Catom come from?

Catom started with family and will always be family. Our founders, Cathy and Tom Stellman, saw a niche that needed to be filled in the heavy hauling industry and made it happen. Since 1979, our commitment to family has been central to our vision as we seek to make everyone that works for us and with us a member of the Catom family.

Cathy and Tom’s daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Pete Jensen, currently operate Catom with the same vision, values and commitment to excellence that has been instilled in them from the first generation.

Are you a minority-owned business?
